Jaime "Jamie" Gonzalez, 51, of Austin died Friday, May 26, 2006 at his residence. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Monday, May 29, 2006 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Celebration of Life Services will be 10 AM, Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Christ Fellowship Church with Pastor Jeff Ripple and Pastor John Euresti officiating. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.Jaime Gonzalez was born on May 5, 1955 in Taylor, Texas to Candelario and Carmen (Euresti) Gonzalez. He married Marie Gonzales in Georgetown, Texas on March 19, 1976. Jamie was a man of very strong faith. He was a member of the Santa Barbara Catholic Church of Austin. He was a family man who loved family functions and barbeques. Jamie had a wonderful sense of humor and his pride and joy were his kids. Jamieís loving spirit and his great love for his family will be his legacy to those left behind. He will be greatly missed by his many family members and friends.He was preceded in death by his father, Candelario Gonzalez; one brother; and one sister.Jamie is survived by his mother, Carmen Gonzalez of Taylor; wife, Marie Gonzalez of Austin; sons, Jamie Gonzalez and wife, Frances of Waco; Ryan Gonzalez of Waco; Carwin Gonzalez; Eric Gonzalez; daughter, Bianca Marisol Gonzalez, all of Austin; brothers, Pastor John Euresti and wife, Angie of CA.; Homero Gonzalez and wife, Anna Marie of Taylor; sisters, Yolanda Gomez and husband, Augustine of Hutto; Diana Tysdal and husband, Robert of Katy; Yvonne Alderete and husband Domingo of Taylor; Beatrice Vega and husband, Thomas, of Taylor; Irene Lopez of WA.; Jacqueline Barnhouse and husband, Jim of Austin; Alice Vega and husband, Anthony of Dallas; Delia Flores of Taylor; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
