"Liberty Awake"

May we never forget

The reflection of the Twin Towers shows that we will never forget what happened on September 11th, a ray of sunlight shining down where the WTC used to stand symbolizes hope for the future, and Lady Liberty has come off her pedestal to rush across the river to help the country in our time of need. Liberty is awake. May we never forget 9/11/01.

"In response to the September 11th bombing attack, I wanted to create an image that didn't dwell on the terror of the day, but rather focused on our patriotic strength and ability to persevere." T.W.

Tim Wistrom, Non-Starving Artist

Renowned professional artist, Tim Wistrom, has established himself as an innovative and unique modern master of realism and surrealism.  His realistic scenes are marine and nature images, while the surrealistic paintings ponder a “what if?” view of the future. The basic premise behind all his surrealism is Nature comes back and reclaims the world, which continues to go through geological changes.

Tim  works with Acrylic on Canvas, and has produced Limited Edition Lithographic Prints and Giclee’s (archival printing on canvas). His works are widely collected for their thought provoking themes and attention to detail. Because he usually limits his prints to editions of  950, they are always in high demand: some images have gone up in value astronomically on the secondary market.

Born in Germany to parents in the U. S. Air force, Tim grew up in Germany, on the East Coast, in San Diego, and in the Seattle area. Although his travels take him all over the world, Seattle has been his home for about 25 years.
