This Tribute was provided by Kristine Snyder:
may we NEVER forget

I'm not sure if anyone will ever read this, nor do I really care. If I can just send a message out to express how I feel, maybe it will be easier to deal with. I did not lose anyone on 9-11 but I am heartbroken just the same. That day was SO awful. I was watching good morning america on tv while getting my kids ready for school when they broke into the programming and said one of the towers was on fire. Then the second plane. And the pentagon-then PA. More than any sane person can comprehend. My young son, Kody, asked me if the buildings would fall down. I said--no, of course not--they're built from steel and they are very strong-the firefighters wil go in and put out the fire and everything will be ok. Heartwrenching guilt tore at me when I realized that I was wrong. What do I tell Kody when he comes home from school and discovers that basically I told him a lie? Thankfully, kids are forgiving little souls and he not one time questioned me about it. Now, I pray for the families and loved ones of thoise who died that tragic day. Every year when 9-11 approaches, I promise to tell the terrible story of that day to anyone who will listen. I will never cease praying asnd hoping for a peaceful, just ending. I know in my heart that osama bin laden will burn in hell and the souls of the innocent lost will live forever in the glory of heaven with Jesus and all his angels. Thank you for reading this and God Bless. :)
