Poppop, one of the best times I ever had was the day you took me fishing for the first time. I was 6 years old and scared to death to be in the middle of the lake in that tiny (for me at the time) tiny boat! You were so patient with me when I insisted I wanted to bait the hook myself and I knocked the tackle box into the water. But when I caught my first fish I was 'hooked'. I'm so thankful you've instilled in me your passion and I will never toss a line into the water without remembering that perfect summer day on the lake with you all to myself. I love you, Poppop.

Harold M. IV was born on March 18, 1998, and the first person to hold him, after his parents, was his great grandfather, Poppop. I'm sorry we didn't get a photo of that memorable time.
